UNIQUE CULTURAL BEER BAR IN THE CENTER OF KAUNAS

“Deep traditions of brewing are rooted in Kaunas. To open a unique beer workshop in this city was an old dream of our company. We’re glad it has finally come true. I believe that the studio will provide an opportunity to uncover a full creative potential of brewers, and will invite consumers to closely observe and get acquainted with the brewing process,” said Marius Horbačauskas, the CEO of Volfas Engelman.

The mini brewery should be open to the public – tours, seminars, and lectures about the history of beer, the production process, consumption culture, as well as beer tastings and pairings will be held there.

As this is a pilot project of the entire international Olvi Group, which also includes Volfas Engelman, brewers from all over the world will be invited to work here.
Robertas Dargis, President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, also emphasized the uniqueness of the newly opened studio, adding that the creative courage shown by the brewery is becoming more and more important for the successful development of any manufacturing activities.

“The further we go, the more the success of our manufacturing companies will be determined by their ability to search for and find unique niches in the market, to understand and utilize their uniqueness. I see the studio as a model space and a future opportunity to search for forms of the manufacturer's creative expression. The fact that it will give brewers a chance to improvise in the process of creating flavors, look for exclusive, unusual options, can make this place unique and, additionally, supplement the entire beverage market with interesting local products,” he says.
