PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
AB Volfas Engelman, when processing the personal data of data subjects, ensures the security of personal data and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from their illegal destruction and/or accidental alteration, distribution, disclosure or any other illegal use.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN THE COMPANY "VOLFAS ENGELMAN"
AB Volfas Engelman, when processing the personal data of data subjects, ensures the security of personal data and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from their illegal destruction and/or accidental alteration, distribution, disclosure or any other illegal use.
AB Volfas Engelman processes the personal data of data subjects for the purposes specified to the data subjects at the time of collection of personal data. In addition to other personal data processed by AB Volfas Engelman, the company also processes the following personal data.
AB Volfas Engelman performs video surveillance in the premises and territory marked with a video surveillance information sign. Video data of data subjects captured by video surveillance devices:
• are processed for the purpose of ensuring the protection of the data subjects’ and AB Volfas Engelman’s property and the implementation of the company’s legitimate interests when damage is caused to the data subjects or the company’s property;
• the processing of the following personal data for the specified purpose complies with the legal basis provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679: Article 6 (1) (f) – processing is necessary in the legitimate interests of the controller;
• such personal data will be stored for up to 30 calendar days, except when such data are needed to investigate a specific event;
• the provision of such personal data is not a requirement provided for by law or by an agreement (if any) concluded between the data subject and the company, however, the provision of such data is necessary to ensure the protection of data subjects and company assets.
AB Volfas Engelman performs audio recording of conversations carried out by the company’s toll-free number 8800 72427. Data subject’s data recorded during audio data recording:
• are processed for the purpose of recording consumer feedback and taking reasonable steps to ensure the proper quality of the company’s products;
• the processing of the following personal data for the specified purpose complies with the legal basis provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679: Article 6 (1) (f) – processing is necessary in the legitimate interests of the controller;
• such personal data will be stored for 30 calendar days, except when such data are needed to investigate a specific event;
• the provision of such personal data is not a requirement provided for by law or by an agreement (if any) concluded between the data subject and the company, however, the provision of such data is necessary to ensure the legitimate interest of the company in assessing the information provided in complaints or other communications and in taking reasonable action on that basis.
AB Volfas Engelman processes the personal data of candidates for the position of the company’s employee, which are provided in the candidates’ curricula vitae (CV) or cover letters, and which:
• are processed for the purpose of assessing the internal administration of AB Volfas Engelman and the candidacy for the jobs held by the company;
• the processing of the following personal data for the specified purpose complies with the legal bases provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679: Article 6 (1) (a) – with the consent of the data subject, Article 6 (1) (b) – the processing is necessary for the evaluation of the candidature at the request of the candidate before the conclusion of the employment contract (if any);
• will be kept for 1 (one) year from the date of their submission or until the revocation of the consent to process them (if the candidate revokes his or her consent to process his or her personal data before this deadline);
• the provision of such personal data is not a requirement provided for by law or by an agreement (if any), however, their submission is necessary in order for the company to assess the candidature and suitability for the job available, so without this information, the company would not be able to evaluate the candidature and offer the job;
• the data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent to the processing of his or her personal data contained in the CV or cover letter at any time, in which case the company will no longer process such personal data, unless it is necessary to process them on grounds other than consent, however, as a result of the withdrawal of consent, the company will no longer be able to ascertain the suitability of the candidature and offer the available vacancies if the information contained in the curriculum vitae (CV) or cover letter is no longer stored.
Data subjects whose personal data are processed by AB Volfas Engelman have the right to submit a complaint to the State Data Protection Inspectorate regarding the processing of his or her personal data upon arrival at the company’s registered office and confirmation of their identity, or by e-mail at duomenuapsauga@volfasengelman.lt, having properly identified their identity by electronic means:
• demand the correction of their processed personal data if their personal data are inaccurate;
• require the deletion of their personal data or restrict, with the exception of storage, the processing of personal data where the accuracy of the data is in dispute, the processing of personal data is unlawful, when the company no longer needs personal data for the purposes of their processing, but they are needed by the data subject to make, enforce or defend legal claims, or when the data subject expresses his or her refusal to process personal data;
• require their personal data to be provided (transferred) if the personal data has been provided in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format and is processed by automated means. Subject to the conditions set out above, data subjects shall have the right to request that their personal data be transferred to another controller whenever technically possible;
• access to their personal data, i.e. to receive information on the purposes of personal data processing, retention period, data recipients, personal data sources, as well as information on how and in which cases the data subject may exercise the right to request the rectification or erasure of personal data, or to restrict or object to the processing of personal data;
• in the event that the personal data of the data subject are processed in the legitimate interest of the company, the data subject shall have the right to object to the processing of his or her personal data for specific reasons relating to him or her. In such a case, the company undertakes not to process the personal data of such a data subject, unless the company processes such personal data for legitimate reasons which take precedence over the interests of the data subject and indicate the reasons for objecting to the processing of personal data, or for the purpose of making or defending legal claims.
Personal data of data subjects processed by AB Volfas Engelman may be provided to those data recipients to whom the data subject will give consent for the provision of his or her personal data or to whom such personal data must be provided to the company in order to fulfil the obligations established in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania or to ensure the legitimate interests of the company.
